Night Oh jeez, you know, i ask myself that very same question sometimes. Some people just have ridiciously absurd fantasy's of cartoon characters getting hooked up because they dont think it's good enough as it is already. they want more "Dramatic" action. as for the pedo crap, I ABSOLUTELY hate the Murdoc x Noodle stuff. I mean their cartoon characters for petes sake! If your going to make up a new charater, be original, dont make it a mary-sue sort of person.

Spartigus15 Well what I have so far is a mercenary with super soldier background. It's not a sporadic relationship he has with Noodle, they in fact have know each other for the majority of each others lives (At least in my story so far they do). I had to look up Mary-Sue to be honest, and the character (who I have dubbed "Spartigus") is no paragon of everything that's good and sacred. He's a merc for god's sake. He will work for just about anyone that will pay him, and he will even kill off employers for what they try to get him to do or for going against Spart's goals. All that's really important to him is 1) The world needs an ass-kicking to clear the garbage we have in portions of our culture, society, and politics, 2) It's all about him and his comrades, everyone else can burn in hell for all he cares, and 3) Noodle is his priority to keep safe, by any means. He isn't a good guy, but he's not a bad guy. Spart just does stuff that makes sense to him, society's take on the topic be damned. Sure he goes crazy from time to time, and people end up getting hurt, but Spartigus is basically what humanity is, sometimes good, sometimes bad, and sometimes just trying to get the job done. If he starts a riot in the US, blows up buildings in Japan, and assassinates people in UK, all for the sake of the Gorillaz and his fellow super troop brethren, I think he can get away with some certain things. After I develop the story and character more, I can send you some of it. No harm in giving portions of the story.

Night first off, i love your idea for a story background, and it kind of reminds me a little of noodles background story too :3 If i am correct, she was originally created to be a sort of "super soldier" ans the gov't scrapped the project, leaving her the only one to get away safe. I don't see a lot of characters that are put into a neutral background (meaning he's neither good or bad) A very kick-ass sounding character. I think I would be interested in reading this story, and especially more of your characters background info. If this WAS made into a game, what do you suppose it would be? a ferst-person, or an RPG?

Spartigus15 Well, if Damon and Jamie WOULD accept this, then go to Ubisoft, who MAY do it, it would have to be an RPG. The Gorillaz story is huge, so the world has to match it's epicness (I have all the game concepts ironed out, be a lot easier to email that to you). The reason why I made Spartigus a super soldier is because Noodle was ALSO a super soldier, which is how they know each other, they were both parts of similar operations, one to make little unnoticeable weapons of mass destruction (Noodle's) and the other to create something for you to fear on any fight, something that reminds you more of man-made demons instead of people (Spart's). So, in my little mind-land of sprinkles and explosions and tranquil land ripped asunder, I decided that a SpartigusxNoodle would make a lot more sense, both of them knowing each other and playing huge parts in each others lives before and during the time of the Gorillaz. Also, Noodle is a.. *ahem* a fine looking young woman, you would think that she may have some lucky guy in mind, hence her being single to the best of our knowledge (Thank you Gorillaz, for your open plot!) I think it would really ruin a great character if Spart took a moral stand on good vs evil because we have all heard it before from both sides, Not that good guy and bad guy stories aren't ever good, just made by the story more than their first take on character. The game would be an entire overview of good ol' Sparty's hand in the Gorillaz (before, during, and beyond) plus his own story. I mean, if I made this game somehow, I should add something new to it, otherwise it's just a fan service, and it wouldn't attract as many non-Gorillaz fans as much as if it was compounded with Gorillaz' and Spartigus's stories. That way, everyone gets a new story. to wrap this little mini-conversation response off, I add a quote from Spartigus himself:

"If a man makes a deal with the devil or whoever the hell is in charge over there, he's a soulless bastard; If a man makes a deal with God or whoever it is, he's a limp noodle of a man; If a man makes a deal with the Reaper though, that makes the man far more interesting than when he first entered the room (Death needs mercenaries for dirty work too, ya know)"
